*In Saginaw, Texas a set of formerly-conjoined twins are now both home after undergoing a surgical separation in January.
Little Miss AmieLynn Finley returned home to her twin JamieLynn along with their parents Amanda and James, two siblings, and a cousin, reports MySA.com.
AmieLynn and JamieLynn were hospitalized at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth following their birth in October (2022) and transferred to Cook Children’s Hospital – also in Ft. Worth – to prepare for the surgery. JamieLynn went home in March.
“This is kind of the beginning again,” James Finley said in a news release from Cook Children’s. “Surgery was one beginning and now we’re going home to another beginning.”
