- With the release of his new album Jesus is King shredding through competition in the billboard charts, and charging $225 for ‘holy spirit hoodies’, the star has certainly been busy these past few months. He has also met and talked with President Trump. Meanwhile, his wife Kim Kardashian West has been protesting freeing a man on death row.
- On Thursday at the Fast Company Innovation Festival in New York City, West talked about running for office. This remark resulted in the crowd laughing at him. He blasted back at them. “When I run for president in 2024, we’re going to definitely- yo whatchu all laughing at,” according to Fox News.
- West has even become more openly religious and conservative these past few years. This includes him saying he wants to have seven kids with Kim, asking Kim to wear less suggestive outfits, and being open about reading the Bible every night before he goes to bed. West has also opened a lot of people’s minds to religion. Google searches were skyrocketing with questions about the Bible and Jesus after his new album was released.
West has talked openly about running these past few months, presumably on the Republican side, and there is no doubting the influence he has on people. If the 2016 election taught us anything, it’s that anyone has the possibility of winning an election.
