Barbie can be anything. She can be a paleontologist, a computer engineer, and now she can even be a judge. Mattel reveals Judge Barbie will be their career doll of the year, according to the Daily Wire.

- The doll will cost $12.99 online and comes outfitted in a black robe, complete with a gavel and block to “help her call the room to order and make important decisions”.
- This doll is meant to push more of a political message, as stated on Mattel’s social media. It’s meant to show women in a career which there is less representation. The post also stated that only three women currently serve on the U.S. Supreme Court.
- Mattell has also created a GoFundMe “Barbie Dream Gap Project”. A press release went on to say that “Research has identified that starting at age five many girls are less likely than boys to view their own gender as smart and begin to lose confidence in their own competence.” With this project, they want to close that gap.
