FBI Needs Help Identifying Victims of Samuel Little, Serial Killer who Murdered 93 People

The FBI is asking for help to identify victims of 79-year-old Samuel Little, “America’s most prolific serial killer.”

What We Know:

  • Little confessed to strangling 93 victims between 1970 and 2005 last year. This is three times the number of victims of the notorious killer Ted Bundy.
  • The women Little targeted were “often of marginalized and vulnerable groups, many who were involved in prostitution or suffering from drug addiction”. Many of their deaths went uninvestigated and these victims have remained nameless.
  •  ViCAP Crime Analyst Christie Palazzolo released a statement advising that “For many years, Samuel Little believed he would not be caught because he thought no one was accounting for his victims…Even though he is already in prison, the FBI believes it is important to seek justice for each victim—to close every case possible”.
  • FBI crime analysts believe all 93 of his confessions are credible, but so far they’ve only been able to verify 50 of them. Five of the cases have been uploaded to the agency’s website “in hopes that someone may remember a detail that could further the investigation”.
  • Each of the cases include a video of Little explaining the incident and a hand-drawn photo by Little of the woman.
  • Before FBI agents knew about his connection to these murders, he was already imprisoned for beating and strangling three women. Then in 2018, his name began to appear with numerous unsolved murders across the country, leading to his confession of about 90 murders.
  • Little is currently serving three life sentences in California.

Praying these victims get the justice they deserve.
