Gucci Mane joins Gucci for a 2020 campaign and announces new album

Rapper and New York Times best-selling author Gucci Mane and luxury brand Gucci team up for a long-awaited collaboration.

What We Know:

  • On Tuesday, October 1, 2019, Gucci Mane and Gucci announced that they would be collaborating on Gucci’s new #ComeAsYouAre_RSVP Cruise 2020 campaign. The campaign will also feature rock artist Iggy Pop and actress Sienna Miller.
  • The campaign features the trap star in an Italian villa named “La Furibonda”. It was shot by Harmony Korine, with art direction by Christopher Simmonds, and styling by Alessandro Michele.
  • Creative director of Gucci, Alessandro Michele stated that “Gucci is a party, and everyone is invited. It’s playful, liberated, libertarian, and also inclusive, hedonist and uninhibited”.
  • Gucci Mane also announced that he would be releasing his fourth studio album titled Woptober 2 on October 17th. His team released the cover art for the album that follows the style of the campaign on all social media platforms.
