Nick Cannon to Host & Produce Syndicated Daytime Talk Show

Nick Cannon is going from making his daytime debut as he is set to host and co-produce a new daytime talk show.

What We Know:

  • Nick Cannon, 38, is joining Liongate’s Debmar-Mercury for a new nationally syndicated daytime talk show in 2020. Cannon will also be co-producing the show through his company, ‘Ncredible Entertainment.’ He has been in the entertainment industry for decades and his recent success has led him to this new venture.
  • He has had a plethora of producing experiencing being that he has been producer, creator, and host for 13 seasons of MTV’s  ‘Wild n’ Out.’ He just finished his first season as the host of Fox’s ‘The Masked Singer’ which broke records with 17 million multi-platform viewers when it premiered in 2018.
  • He hosted the competition show ‘Americas Got Talent’ and the star previously was vocal about his battle with lupus and let fans know that he is focused on his career and living a healthy life.
  • Canon spoke out about his new endeavor saying, “After leaving America’s Got Talent, I wanted to focus on developing my own talk show. I’ve always dreamed of a platform where I can speak to America and discuss pop culture, as well as the topics on everyone’s minds. When I had the opportunity to guest host at my good friend Wendy Williams’ show this year, I experienced the energy and excitement of a daytime talk show and instantly knew I found my audience.”

Debmar-Mercury Co-Presidents Mort Marcus and Ira Bernstein said: “can’t wait to see Nick put his own unique stamp on talk and add daytime to his impressive list of accomplishments.”
