Brianna Mason made history as the first black woman to win the Miss Tennessee pageant.

- Mason is a first-grade teacher from Nashville, Tennessee.
- This is Mason’s fourth time competing in the pageant. Last year, she was second-runner up.
- She will represent Tennessee in the Miss American competition later this year.
