Idris Elba and his wife Sabrina grace the cover of British Vogue with their wedding photos.
What We Know:
- In April, women all over the world were devastated when Idris Elba and Sabrina Dhowre tied the knot in Morocco. The two got engaged in February 2018, after Elba came out and said he’d probably never get married again.
- Elba told PEOPLE his proposal was, “the most nerve-wracking thing for me ever.” A proposal is pretty scary for anybody, but when it’s the right person it makes it all worth it. He also said, “in terms of wanting to make someone feel super special and feel my love, that was pretty romantic for me.”
- The couple married at the Ksar Char-Bagh hotel in Marrakesh before family and friends. Dhowre wore two custom Vera Wang gowns, one for the ceremony and one for the reception. Elba wore a standard black suit by Ozwald Boateng.
- British Vogue posted the cover on their Instagram highlighting how the issue dives into their journey and how it was “love at first sight” when they met.
