For Mother’s Day 2019, Seahawks’ Quarterback Russell Wilson gifted his mother Tammy Wilson a new house.

- On Sunday, May 12th, Wilson, his wife Ciara, and their two year old daughter Sienna, surprised his mother with a brand new house for Mother’s Day.
- He posted a video of her reaction on Instagram. He captioned the video, “All these years you have never asked me for anything…only thing you ever wanted is for me to LOVE. - Tammy was clearly surprised by the gift. In the video she says “No, are you serious?” and “y’all lying'” several times. Eventually, she breaks down into tears as she realizes that its not a joke and she is actually holding the keys to her new home.
- This purchase comes just a month after Wilson signed a $140 million contract with the Seahawks. This contract includes a four year extension, $65 million signing bonus, no trade clause, and $107 million of guaranteed money. This new contract makes him the highest paid athlete in the NFL.
To celebrate his wife Ciara, Wilson also posted a Mother’s Day video with the caption “Happy Mother’s Day My Love!!! I love you Ciara … also… so about that… baby numero 3…”
