Trey Songz has found himself in legal trouble yet again! The R&B crooner voluntarily surrendered to police after being accused of punching a woman in the face and assaulting a man at a New York bowling alley a few months ago. Here’s the latest…
Mr. Steal Your Girl’s criminal history is well known, but he continues to add to it.
Trey Songz has surrendered to police after being accused of assaulting two people at a bowling alley in New York, according to TMZ.
An unidentified New York woman claimed in November that he assaulted her in late October at a public bowling alley. The Jane Doe filed a police report, alleging that the “Slow Motion” singer punched her in the face repeatedly and dragged her by her hair. It’s reported she had been taken to the hospital with minor, visible injuries.
Another potential victim, according to TMZ, has also come forward. An unidentified man who allegedly refused medical treatment claims to have been struck in the eye by the 38-year-old musician. SMH.
However, according to a statement obtained by TMZ, his surrender is not an admission of guilt.
Trey’s attorney, Mitch Schuster, tells TMZ, “We have been proactively communicating with NY law enforcement, the DA, and all those involved. While we will respectfully and proactively work through all the appropriate channels we are confident that Trey will be fully cleared of any wrong doing.”
Trigga was booked, given a desk appearance ticket for assault, and then released.
Earlier this year, “Insecure” actor Sarunas Jackson called Trigga out for his problematic behavior towards women.

“I had some run-ins. They do that thing where they try and sell this tough guy scene, like this one…Trey, Trey Songz, b*tch a** n*gga, try to press women, you know what I’m saying? But then turn down a fade when a n*gga came up to him for the fade, turned it down. I’m not cool with n****s like that,” he explained. “He wants to fight women and stuff like that. Me? I can’t operate like that.”

In September, rapper 50 Cent announced that the “I Invented Sex” singer would be barred from future Tycoon Houston Weekend events.
Fif shared a picture of Trey holding a bottle of alcohol with the words “Banned From Tycoon” on it. In the caption, he wrote, “Last TYCOON he crashed a Wraith. This TYCOON he was acting crazy, wanting to fight and sh*t over the girls. He broke some sh*t up in his room. Nah tell @treysongz he can’t come. SMH.”
Over the years, the “Bottoms Up” singer has managed to escape any serious criminal repercussions after facing a variety of physical and sexual assault accusations.
In December 2021, ex-college basketball player Dylan Gonzalez accused him of raping her nine years ago.
In February 2022, a woman going by the alias Jane Doe filed a complaint, claiming she had a “consensual” relationship with Trey Songz before he became a “savage rapist” in March 2016. She claimed that the “Mr. Steal Your Girl” singer anally raped her after she repeatedly told him to stop. She was seeking $20 million in restitution. In July 2022, the rape lawsuit was dropped in court after she asked the judge for the case to be dismissed without prejudice.
The lawsuit was refiled and then dismissed again due to the statute of limitations. Trey Songz’ legal team intercepted the filing and had the civil suit dismissed because the statute of limitations in California is only two years, so anything after March 2018 would not hold the singer liable.
In April 2022, a woman filed a $5 million lawsuit against Trey, accusing him of purposely exposing her breasts while she posed for a photo. Weeks earlier, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department closed a case against the singer after he was accused of having sexually assaulted a woman while celebrating his birthday in Vegas in November 2021. The LVMPD stated that they would reopen the case in the event that any new evidence was presented.
In 2020, he was hit with a $10 million sexual assault lawsuit after a Georgia woman accused the singer of sexual battery inside a Miami nightclub. The woman made claims that on January 1, 2018, Trigga invited her to E11even nightclub after spending New Year’s Eve at Diddy’s home and that’s when he sexually assaulted her. She sued him for $10 million for assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. He spoke out, saying the accusations were false.
In April 2021, he settled the suit with the woman. Her attorney wrote, “The Plaintiff and the Defendant have entered into a Settlement Agreement resolving all disputes between them.” She asked the court to approve the deal and close the case.
In August 2020 (months after the Georgia woman sued him for $10 million), he was hit with NEW sexual assault-like allegations, which he denied. AJ/Aliza – friend of rappers’ fave groupie Celina Powell – shared a story about an alleged sexual encounter with the R&B crooner.
In 2018, Trey Songz turned himself in to police over a felony domestic violence charge. The charge stemmed from accuser Andrea Buera, who said Trey punched her repeatedly during All Star Weekend when he became upset with her for some unknown reason. He was eventually cleared of all misdemeanor and felony charges for lack of evidence. A few months later, she sued him for medical expenses and other damages.
Sheesh. At this point, what’s really good Trigga?
