The hit ABC show How To Get Away With Murder is set to end after its upcoming sixth season.
What We Know:
- The news was announced Thursday, with series creator Pete Nowalk telling CNN “deciding to end this series was a brutal decision, but ultimately the story tells you what to do — as it did here…”
- “Knowing I have 15 episodes left to finish her story, and the chance to give all the characters their own killer endings, is a gift rarely given to a series creator and I’m grateful to ABC and ABC Studios, [which produces the show] for the opportunity and creative freedom…” he stated.
- He gave his thanks to everyone involved on the show throughout the years on Twitter, including the viewers, who he stated was the “only reason this show exists…because of your loyalty and enthusiasm.”
- According to CNN, the last season (which premieres September 26) will focus on the students’ last semester of law school.
