Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Join Royal Family For Queen Elizabeth II’s Funeral, Meghan Wears Several Items To Honor The Queen

Meghan Markle was right by her husband Prince Harry’s side to join the Royal Family to attend Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral service held at Westminster Abbey today. See flicks of the couple holding hands, plus deets on Meghan’s attire that honored the Queen inside…

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry joined the Royal Family and hundreds of world leaders, politicians and dignitaries to attend The State Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II held at Westminister Abbey this morning.

During the funeral service, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex – who stepped down as senior royals in 2020 – sat on the second row, behind King Charles III and his Queen Consort Camilla, as well as Princess Anne, and his disgraced uncle, Prince Andrew. Both Harry and Andrew were barred from wearing their military uniform, despite the fact Harry actually served in the military. Only working royals are allowed to wear the uniform.

The night before the State Funeral, Harry was allowed to wear his military uniform for a vigil held Saturday:

Whew! We see why they’re MAD!

Back to the funeral…

Cameras caught tears streaming down Meghan’s face as Harry kept a somber facial expression during the funeral:

New heir Prince William, Prince of Wales, and his wife Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, sat front row with their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, in a different section. It’s odd, non-working royals Zara Tindall (daughter of Princess Anne) and Peter Phillips (son of Princess Anne) were allowed to sit on the front row.

The Duchess of Sussex had a few emotional moments. She was seen wiping away a tear as she stood outside of the building alongside Queen Consort Camilla, Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

As expected, the British media is criticizing Meghan for showing emotion, but at this point, who even cares. No matter what she does, they’ll always have something negative to say.

President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden also attended the funeral.

Speaking of U.S. presidents, Forever President Barack Obama and Forever First Lady Michelle Obama remembered the Queen in a touching video:

As a tribute to the Queen, Meghan Markle wore several items to pay her respects, including pearl & diamond earrings that were gifted to her by the Queen. The Queen presented the former “Suits” actress with the earrings in honor of their first solo outing together in 2018

The 41-year-old mom-of-two also wore a black cape Stella McCartney dress, which she wore in navy, back in 2018, during a televised concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall in honor of the Queen’s 92nd birthday. She also wore the black version of a white hat by Stephen Jones for Dior that she rocked back in June, during Queen Elizabeth’s final Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Finishing her look, she rocked black pumps, black gloves and yellow gold Cartier bracelet. She looked amazing.

After the funeral service, the Queen’s coffin went on her very last journey to St George’s Chapel, Windsor. The State Hearse had brought the Queen’s coffin from Wellington Arch in the centre of London, following her funeral service at Westminster Abbey and a procession of thousands through the streets.
