Grace Jones quits her role in Bond 25 after minutes of being on set.

- Grace Jones, 70, has been not only a diva, but an icon in both the fashion and film industry. She starred as the iconic villain May Day in A View to A Kill in 1985, so when she agreed to do Bond 25, she believed she would have a bigger role than what she was given.
- Jones’ part was a cameo alongside Daniel Craig. When she realized how few lines she had, she quit instantly. A source close to Jones told Fox News, “She was out of there quicker then it takes to rustle up a martini. Production managers were left disgruntled after her quitting. Being that she is a diva, she required premium accommodations which producers were happy to provide, until now.
- Production managers were specifically upset because they paid for her to stay at a luxury hotel near Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire. “Of course, she comes with a reputation,” a source said, “so they organized premium accommodations and rolled out the red carpet it to make her feel welcome.” The money aspect of this situation isn’t the movie’s biggest problem. Jones quitting marked the fourth major setback for the production.
- Initially, filming was canceled because Craig damaged his ankle. But, this came after the original Director, Danny Boyle, quit in August 2018 over a script dispute. They found a replacement director, Cory Fukunaga, who skipped filming to play video games.
Despite having a bumpy beginning, Bond 25 is set to premiere in April of next year.
