On an episode of Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live, Terry Crews revealed that White Chicks 2 is in the works.
What We Know:
- White Chicks was a comedy that came out in 2004 starring Marlon and Shawn Wayans as FBI agents that went undercover as white women. Terry Crews played Latrell Spencer, a basketball player who took a romantic interest in Marlon while he was undercover.
- In the interview with Andy Cohen, Crews advised that he spoke with Shawn Wayans who confirmed the film. According to Crews, Shawn stated “man we’re doing it, we’re getting it going”.
- Crews is just as excited about the sequel as the fans. He told Cohen “I’ve been working out for 15 years so I can do White Chicks 2, y’all!”
- Back in August 2009, Sony had announced that they were doing the sequel, but that was later cancelled.
- Despite Crews’ excitement, he’s the only person to speak out about the sequel. After Crews’ announcement, Marlon Wayans responded on Instagram. According to Marlon, there isn’t a deal in place for the sequel so nothing is official yet.
Hopefully Terry Crews didn’t get our hopes up for nothing!
