“The hate campaign ain’t working at all!”

Megan Thee Stallion continues to apply pressure after dropping her long-awaited sophomore album, Traumazine, last Friday amid drama with her record label. The new project invites listeners into Megan’s deepest thoughts and touches on her journey of self-actualization and dealing with trauma.

Today, the Houston Hottie released the brand-new music video for “HER,” directed by Colin Tilley.

”HER” is an anthem that celebrates strong, independent women across the world and embraces all elements of who they are. It’s clear the choreography was heavily influenced by The Ballroom Scene, an underground LGBTQ subculture that originated in New York City. The Grammy winner has been judge on “Legendary” since Season 1, so she’s not completely new to the Ballroom and House music landscape.

Speaking of her new album…

During an interview with L.A. Leakers, the “WAP” raptress shared how much she paid rapper Future for a feature on her new LP. She shared she hit him with $250,000 for the feature because that was his asking price.

“I had the beat for ‘Pressurelicious,’ right? I recorded the song, and I recorded it one way. And I’m like, ‘You know what? This would really sound hard if Future was on it. So I feel like being a woman in the industry, reaching out to a man trying to get a feature is always going to be a task. You never know what to expect.”

Meg’s camp reached out to Future’s camp and they gave her his price tag.

“They was like, ‘Okay, 250. He wants 250K.’ I was like, ‘OK, bet. Somebody go pull 250,000 out of the bank and go drop it off to Future and tell him I need the verse before he leaves [Miami].’”

The “Sweetest Pie” rapper – who appeared as her alter ego Tina Snow on “P-Valley” recently – shared there was initially some push-back from her team over the Future feature at first, but she went through with it anyway. Future rapped on the seven-minute beat through its entirety, which Meg chopped up to use for her track “Pressurelicious.” Take a listen to her interview above.
