TMZ and T.I. At Odds Over Coverage of Precious Harris Chapman’s Cause Of Death

T.I.’s sister, Precious Harris Chapman passed away in February after she was involved in a fatal car accident.

What We Know:

• TMZ posted a story revealing the content of her autopsy report. The news outlet reported that there was cocaine in her system during the time of the fatal accident.
• T.I. called out the outlet on Instagram live, for running the story on his sister.
• He says TMZ has been “profiting from people’s pain.” The rapper also stated the news outlet disrupted his grieving process.
• TMZ has since apologized for posting the story. The news outlet published an article titled, “Posting Cause of Death for T.I’s Sister Was Inappropriate and Wrong.”’
