Claudia Jordan Sparks Furor after Tweeting ‘Rest in Paradise DMX’, Apologizes

Former Real Housewives Of Atlanta star Claudia Jordan has apologized after falsely tweeting that DMX had passed away.

  • On Tuesday, Jordan tweeted a now-deleted post that read “Rest in Paradise DMX,” alongside a broken heart, crown, and praying hands emojis. The star quickly deleted the post after discovering that DMX was, in fact, still alive.
  • DMX suffered an accidental overdose last week and was sent to the ICU at White Plains Hospital in New York after a heart attack. According to his manager Steve Rifkind the 50-year-old rapper currently remains in a coma.
  • After receiving tons of backlash from fans, the 47-year-old reality t.v. the star claimed she had no intention of causing harm. “I’m sorry. I deleted it. I apologized. I feel terrible. I understand how people are feeling as I am too. It’s been heavy on my mind since he fell ill,” she tweeted.

  • Hundreds of DMX’s fans gathered outside the White Plains Hospital over the weekend as his 15 children were rushing to his bedside. A source close to the family alleged last Saturday that DMX’s prognosis was ‘not looking good,’ as his brain activity continues to show no signs of improvement.

DMX’s family continues to pray for his recovery despite the fact that they may have to make the agonizing decision about whether or not he will be taken off life support.
