- The Canadian actor starred as Dave Turner on the beloved teen series Degrassi: The Next Generation. His most recent acts were Dante Sands in Netflix’s Soundtrack, A Day Late and a Dollar Short alongside Whoopi Goldberg, The Divide, and Boost.
- “It is with a heavy heart that I confirm the passing of a dear friend and client, Jahmil French,” the actor’s agent, Gabrielle Kachman,” said in a statement to Entertainment Tonight, a ViacomCBS property.
- Jahmil’s recent Netflix show, Soundtrack, is a musical drama that premiered on the streaming platform in December 2019 and was canceled in January 2020 after one season after news of Jahmil’s passing, Soundtrack writer Joshua Safran dedicated some words to the actor on Twitter.
