Over the weekend, Sean “Diddy” Combs celebrated his birthday in style.
What We Know:
- The mogul celebrated turning the big “5-0” Saturday night at his Beverly Hills mansion in the company of celeb friends and family. The list of attendees included Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Pharrell, Naomi Osaka, Mary J. Blige, Nia Long, Lauryn London and more.
- The invitation was a voice-over, done by Naomi Campbell in which she proclaimed “there ain’t no party like a Diddy party” and laid three ground rules: dance or don’t come, black tie means black tie, project “good vibrations”.
- “I’m blessed to have made it to 50,” Combs told Vanity Fair. “Through all the ups and downs and successes, I’m happy that my closest friends and family were here to celebrate me and this milestone. I’m even more grateful for my kids, they motivate me every day to be better and I’m looking forward to celebrating them during my next 50 years.”
- Diddy’s birthday cake, well cakes, spelled out the word “LOVE”. Each letter was an individual cake frosted in white and adorned with gold candles. Mary J. Blige sung happy birthday and Usher and Lil Kim graced the stage.
- Diddy took to Twitter to share a special recap video of the epic night. He wrote “All I’m gonna say is… WATCH THIS!!”
