Actress Niecy Nash has filed for divorce from her husband Jay Tucker.

- Niecy Nash filed legal documents on Thursday, December 12, 2019, at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles. According to the filing, the case is listed as “dissolution without minor children.” The couple was married during a TLC-televised ceremony in Malibu in May 2011.
- Nash and Tucker announced their split on social media on October 30. In the post, she stated “We believe in the beauty of truth. Always have. Our truth is that in this season of our lives, we are better friends than partners in marriage. Our union was such a gorgeous ride. And as we go our separate ways now, we feel fortunate for the love we share – present tense. Thank you all out there for your support of us as a couple over the last eight years. We are grateful.”
- She was previously married to Don Nash from 1994 to 2007 and they share three children, son Dominic, and daughters Donielle and Dia.
- It is said that after Nash underwent cosmetic surgery to change her body, that’s when their troubles began. Sources also say that Tucker was really uncomfortable with her sex scenes on the show Claws, and that made their problems worse.
The two were living in different cities as well. Nash was living in New Orleans while Tucker was in Los Angeles.
