High-end fashion house Dolce&Gabbana recently unveiled its first real estate project in the United States: a hotel and condo-style residence located in Florida.
Dolce&Gabbana’s 888 Brickell will be the city’s tallest building once complete. At 1,049 feet, the building is planned to be an architectural gem. It will offer a blend of private ownership and hotel atmosphere, allowing owners to rent out their homes when not in use.
Inside the Hotel
The Miami project, called 888 Brickell, will combine hundreds of rooms and luxury amenities.
The condo hotel will feature 250 elegantly designed rooms and suites, multiple dining options, and luxurious common spaces.
Each part of the hotel will align with the brand’s luxury flair. High-end features will make up everything from the rooms to the lobby, the private dining spaces, the pool, and bar.
The “grand lobby” will feature black marble with a standout wall of burgundy marble and handmade Venetian chandeliers. The lighting will emphasize the luxury stay. Dolce&Gabbana’s signature colors, black, gold, and red, will also be ever-present throughout the design.
On the first floor, guests can expect black marble stairs to lead the way. Then, they’ll find an exclusive lounge area, fitness spaces, and hotel check-in. According to the release, the hotel’s bar is set to be a “dramatic” centerpiece that offers entertainment and relaxation amid a multi-textured design.
There is also an event space that includes a DJ booth, and a stage. Other details, like Venetian chandeliers, and handmade decor will accentuate Miami’s “glamour and grace.”
‘Craftsmanship’ in Mind
“For us, the cultural vibrancy of Miami is the perfect backdrop for our world debut in the real estate sector with ‘fatto a mano’ (handmade) craftsmanship at its heart. The project will embody the very essence of the Dolce&Gabbana universe – a luxurious, timeless design experience,” Alfonso Dolce, the company’s CEO, said.
Residents and guests who stay at 888 Brickell can expect lots of perks. Those include a pool, multiple places to eat, a theater, lounges, a yoga and pilates studio, a children’s playroom, a full-service spa, and more.
