*Pizza Hut has collaborated with Yeastie Boys, a bagel food truck concept from Los Angeles, to combine the flavors of bagels and pizzas in the limited-edition Big New Yorker Pizza Bagel.
Per the news release, “The Big New Yorker Pizza Bagel will debut at Rolling Loud in Los Angeles on March 15-17. Then, two trucks will roll out in New York City over the following weekend from March 22-23 and Los Angeles from March 22-24. At each truck location, the Big New Yorker Pizza Bagel will be available for FREE while supplies last with a limit of one per customer. Additionally, select Pizza Bagels will come with a scratch-off that includes codes for Pizza Hut gift cards up to $25 or custom Yeastie Boys x Pizza Hut swag items.”
“We’re thrilled to partner with Yeastie Boys to introduce the Pizza Bagel, giving our Big New Yorker pizza an even bigger New York twist,” Rachel Antalek, the chief food innovation officer at Pizza Hut, shared in a statement, Food & Wine reports.
“We are always looking for innovative ways to surprise our customers, and this collaboration perfectly embodies our commitment to bold flavors and culinary creativity. The Big New Yorker Pizza Bagel is a bold celebration of New York’s culinary spirit, and we can’t wait for pizza and bagel lovers alike to experience this new item,” Antalek continued.
Every pizza bagel is carefully assembled with rich marinara sauce, freshly grated Parmesan cheese, aromatic oregano, and finished off with a double serving of pepperoni, all atop a distinctive Yeastie Boys bagel.
“Pizza Hut was an integral part of my childhood and so were pizza bagels,” said Evan Fox, Yeastie Boys’ Arizona-born founder, per Food & Wine.
“The fact that this is the first time Pizza Hut will drop a Pizza Bagel, and we get to do it with them is a truly a dream come true. I am beyond stoked to share these with the public,” Fox said.
