After recent attacks of Justin Trudeau over racist costumes he wore in the past, Obama has endorsed him for his campaign.
What We Know:
- Obama proclaimed his endorsement of Trudeau over Twitter, according to Vice. He went on to say that Trudeau is the progressive leader Canada needs and deserves a second shot. With only a few days left till the election on October 21, both Trudeau and Conservative leader Andrew Scheer are neck and neck in the polls.
- Critics have stated this is foreign interference. That Democrats complain so much about the Russian interference yet they don’t bat an eye if their own side does it.
I was proud to work with Justin Trudeau as President. He’s a hard-working, effective leader who takes on big issues like climate change. The world needs his progressive leadership now, and I hope our neighbors to the north support him for another term.

The two of these men utterly failed to move the needle on both climate policy and the concomitant refugee crisis it’s about to precipitate.

- Obama has stayed quiet on his endorsement of the American election. Michelle Obama, when asked about Biden, refused to even comment.
Biden after this most recent debate has trailed to second place with Warren leading the way.
