*Singer Baby Storme is catching heat on social media after branding a Target employee as racist when he shut down her flash mob inside the store.

A viral video shows the artist inside a Target store with about a dozen dancers dressed as goth zombies and filming a music video for her catchy 80s-inspired track “This City is a Graveyard.”

On Sunday, Baby Storme, who is Black, posted a video on X, (formally Twitter) of the impromptu production along with the caption: “This racist target employee called the police on us for dancing in Target… So we danced anyway,” she wrote.

In the accompanying video, one of the Target employees is heard saying, “We’re gonna have to call the cops on you guys,” due to the music video being a safety hazard.

“Hey! If we all just start and multiple people record, they can’t block everyone,” someone with Baby Storme’s crew responds. And with that, the musician and her choreographed dancers sing Baby Storme’s song acapella as they exit the store. Watch the YouTube clip below.

“I was so excited for us to film a quick flash mob at Target. But before we even walked through the door, this employee called the police on us for being on the property,” Baby Storme captioned the video on YouTube, The Daily Beast reports. “At first he said we couldn’t film. But when we stopped filming, he still continued to kick us out.”

She added, “So, we made the most of what we could. I couldn’t even remember the dance I came up with. This moment for me was one that I really can not describe. I tried to keep it together, but all I could focus on was all the beautiful brown faces I was able to bring together. That were able to stand in solidarity today. This is everything I stand for.”

Despite Baby Storme’s claims of racism, many people on social media disagreed.

“What racism? You are on private property which means Target is well within their rights to kick your entitled behinds to the curb,” a Twitter user commented under the video. “Stop using cries of racism to excuse this nonsense.”

Media personality Tristan Tate (Andrew Tate’s brother) also slammed Baby Storme on Twitter, writing “Yawn. Somebody find me the security guard, he’s been shown online with his face and labeled a racist by this vile person. I will cover all his legal fees for his defamation lawsuit, which he will win. 1000 dollar reward for putting us in touch.”

Baby Storme responded, “you’re a grown ass man fighting with a 23 year old girl on twitter, trying to paint me as a terrible person for organizing a flashmob & speaking on what i believe was MY experience. you can literally go to hell. and you will. with your brother.”

The Tate brothers are currently facing human trafficking charges in Romania.
