*Ice Cube joined former Fox News host Tucker Carlson for a drive around South Central Los Angeles on the latest episode of Tucker’s new Twitter show.
The conversation centered on opposition to the COVID-19 vaccines, with Ice Cube stating: “I never wanted to be controlled.”
“It wasn’t ready. It was six months, kind of a rush job. And I didn’t feel safe,” added Cube about the COVID vaccine, Billboard reports.
President Biden and the CDC deemed the jab “safe and effective,” with “rare” side effects. Meanwhile, within the past year or so, there have been numerous reports about athletes and journalists collapsing and passing out, children suffering from heart problems, and this week: footballer Marquise Goodwin suffered from “alarming” blood clots in his legs and lungs, sportscaster Shaka Hislop collapsed on-air, LeBron James’ son, Bronny James, went into Cardiac Arrest while playing basketball and gospel singer Tori Kelly was hospitalized with severe blood clots.
To suggest any of this is connected to the jab could get you banned on social media, doxxed, and labeled a conspiracy theorist or MAGA conservative — which is why fans of Ice Cube are outraged that he appears to be an anti-vaxxer, The Daily Beast reports.

During Ice Cube and Carlson’s conversation, the host was asked if he’d gotten vaccinated during the pandemic.
“Of course not,” Carlson said, noting that, “they told you you were safe.”
Ice Cube also addressed reports that he lost out on a $9 million payday for the film “Oh Hell No” because of his anti-vaxx stance.
“I know what they said. I heard what they said, I heard them loud and clear,” Cube said of his decision not to get vaxxed. “It’s not their decision. There is no repercussions if they are wrong. I get all the repercussions if they are wrong.”
Ice Cube said he wanted to set a good example for his children by declining the vaccine.
“Show them that I was wiling to stand on my convictions and that I was willing to lose $9 million and more,” he said.
“I never told anyone not to get vaccinated publicly,” Cube said. “I was going to quietly not take it and deal with the consequences as they came,” he said.
Cube went on to claim he knows people who “suffer every day” from vaccine injuries.
“It’s hard to watch,” he said.
