Delta Sky Club Unveils New 14,000 Square Feet Lounge at JFK Terminal 4 – Travel Noire

Delta Sky Club announced the opening of its second lounge at New York-JFK, located in Terminal 4 near Gate A7. This new Club, situated in Terminal 4 Concourse B, spans an impressive 14,000 square feet. The spacious lounge offers seating for more than 250 people, along with a covered Sky Deck. With the combined capacity of both Clubs at JFK, over 800 people can now be accommodated simultaneously.

According to Delta Air Lines, The Delta Sky Club’s JFK T4-A Club promises an exceptional experience, where guests can immerse themselves in the essence of New York City while relishing in delightful flavors brought to life by a talented local chef.

The lounge’s aesthetic draws inspiration from the diverse elements of New York City’s rich contrasts and vibrant energy. Like true New Yorkers who have their favorite spots, the lounge boasts its own specialties that will leave regulars enchanted.

From the lounge, guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the airport. An inviting fireplace lounge offers a serene space to work or unwind. The Club’s centerpiece is a unique premium bar with a full 360-degree view, reminiscent of a traditional speakeasy. Elegant, discreet, and charming characterize this libation space with its greenery-covered chairs – befitting the city that never sleeps.

Delta Sky Club’s signature

“This new Club is beautifully designed and packed with special details that reflect the magic of New York City,” said Claude Roussel, Managing Director of Delta Sky Club. “But much more important than that, it’s a place where our people can deliver Delta Sky Club’s signature hospitality, making each guest feel welcomed and cared for from the moment they step inside,” he added.

The JFK T4-A Club will feature the culinary delights of Elyssa Heller, creator and CEO of Edith’s Eatery & Grocery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The culinary initiative is part of Delta Sky Club’s commitment to supporting local, rising chefs through its Local Flavor initiative.

Until the end of September, diners can indulge in Edith’s famed vegan Iced Café Slushie. The delightful blend of cold coffee, tahini, oat milk, and simple syrup is definitely worth a try. Or, savor her interpretations of traditional Jewish deli dishes, such as the brisket hash sandwich, vegetarian latkes, and labneh parfait.
