*Attorney Antonio Moore cofounder of #ADOS (American Descendants of Slavery) explains in a video how reparations became a national topic during the 2020 election cycle.
On his weekly show, Moore details the background of reparations discussions picked in 2018 after he and Yvette Carnell President of the ADOS Advocacy Foundation informed their respective audiences on lineage and wealth. And began pushing for a demand for reparations. Then how members began demanding reparations from congress members leading to a surge of support.
Moore testified as one of two lead experts on the California reparations bill when it was on the Senate floor back in August 2020.
Some of the ideas for the AB3121 bill came from the aforementioned #ADOS project he created with Carnell via their Youtube shows as detailed in the video below.
In addition, the New York Times, ABC, and CNN among many others covered the ADOS group and the topic dating back to 2018.
