Although Big Freedia has kept new music flowing in the forms of EPs, mixtapes, standalone singles, and features, it’s been nearly a decade since the Queen of Bounce dropped a new studio effort. That changed Friday (June 23) thanks to the unveiling of his long-awaited sophomore album, ‘Central City.’

A star-studded affair featuring appearances from GRAMMY winners Lil Wayne, Ciara, and Faith Evans as well as powerhouse diva Kelly Price, femcee Kamaiyah, and more, ‘Central’ arrives to digital shelves 9 years after the release of 2014’s ‘Just Be Free’ and is bolstered by housed cuts ‘$100 Bill,’ ‘El Niño,’ and more.
