*“One of the unwritten laws of power is to appear not to need anything,” Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson said in a new interview with Vulture

Jackson said he learned how to make $10 million per movie after meeting movie producer Avi Lerner.

Lerner was apparently more than willing to share his knowledge and expertise about filmmaking because Jackson was “in a financial place that I didn’t need one thing from him,” he said.

“Because I was interested in what he had developed as a business, he was excited by my interest,” 50 Cent continued. “He offered probably more than the average person.”

Jackson said Lerner “helped me understand Hollywood.”

The hip-hop star used that knowledge to gain experience as a producer making low-budget movies through his production company Cheetah Vision.

“I got paid almost $10 million on each one of those films,” he said. “So I paid myself to learn how to participate on those projects.”

In related news, 50 Cent recently announced “The Final Lap Tour, a global tour in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of his game-changing debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’. Per press release, due to overwhelming fan demand with close to half a million tickets sold, the rapper released more dates across North America and Europe.

Per the press release, the Final Lap Tour will feature the rap icon performing dozens of fan-favorite and chart-topping hits along with select tracks that have not been performed live in decades. Plus, special guest and longtime friend, Busta Rhymes will join 50 Cent across all dates, and Jeremih will support on all North American dates and select European markets.
