*To celebrate the accessibility to plant-based food that (Kevin Hart‘s) Hart House is bringing to the greater Los Angeles community, ‘Hart & The City’, an interactive scavenger hunt highlighting minority-owned businesses that bring life to their communities through shared values and accessible practices.
Taking place this weekend across LA on June 10 & 11, this immersive experience will feature local stops in Hollywood, Westchester/Inglewood, and Monrovia (all neighborhoods with a Hart House location). Participants will enjoy block parties, live music, ‘Can’t Believe It Flavor’ from the Hart House menu, prizes, free merchandise/products at each featured small business and the Grand Prize winner will win a VIP experience with Kevin Hart.
How to participate …
- Head to any Hart House to pick up your wristband and flavor passport on Saturday, June 10th or Sunday, June 11th. You will get a stamp from Hart House (no purchase necessary).
- Visit the two community spotlights closest to your neighborhood Hart House to receive your two other passport stamps.

- Hart House Westchester (11am – 9pm; activation until 7pm)
- 1010 Wine (11am – 4pm) – 1010 Wine is the first and only upscale wine bar located in the heart of Inglewood, founded by sisters Leslie and LeAnn. The first 30 ‘Hart & The City’ Scavenger Hunt participants each day will receive a complimentary glass of rosé or juice.
- Sip and Sonder (11am – 4pm) – Sip and Sonder spotlights coffee products from communities of color from around the world and provides a safe space for people of color to gather and network over a delicious cup of coffee. The first 25 ‘Hart & The City’ Scavenger Hunt participants each day will receive 4 oz bags of their Native Daughter roast.

- Unds (11am – 7pm) – Unds is a minority-owned sneaker and clothing store uniting 25+ small businesses and offering a carefully curated selection of apparel and footwear with a distinctive vintage aesthetic. The first 25 ‘Hart & The City’ Scavenger Hunt participants each day will receive Unds vintage tees.
- Simply Divine Barber Shop + Salon (Saturday: 11am-7pm, Sunday: 11am-6pm) – Simply Divine is a Black-owned barbershop, beauty shop and barber school, providing free haircuts and other community resources. The first 25 ‘Hart & The City’ Scavenger Hunt participants each day will receive hair store items or gift certificates.
- Hart House Hollywood (Dining Room: 11am – 8pm / Drive-thru: 11am -11pm; activation will run until 7pm)
- Obet and Del’s (11am – 3pm) – Obet and Del’s is a minority-owned coffee shop and community space committed to a better, more diversified future for coffee. The first 30 ‘Hart & The City’ Scavenger Hunt participants each day will receive a drink ticket.
- Happy Ice LA (12pm – 7pm) – Happy Ice LA is a dairy-free Black-owned dessert shop, whose mission is to bring Happiness, one cup of shaved-ice at a time. The first 50 ‘‘Hart & The City’ Scavenger Hunt participants each day will receive a Happy Ice treat.
