Actor Malik Yoba announced that he is attracted to transgender women in an Instagram post.
What We Know:
- The 51-year-old actor made the announcement in a since-deleted Instagram post on Monday. Yoba stated that he is “trans attracted.”
- This declaration was in response to Maurice ‘Reese’ Willoughby’s suicide. Willoughby, 20, was a rapper from Philadelphia who was bullied for having a transgender girlfriend.

-
“Trans people deserve love and respect as do those of us that love them!!,” Yoba captioned the video. He continued, “As a self-identified cis heterosexual man I too am learning what it means to be trans attracted. Many of us famous and otherwise that have struggled with accepting our attraction so we do NOTHING. This MUST change.”
-
Yoba was praised by many for being honest about his attraction. In addition to this announcement, Yoba also stated that he will be hosting a workshop called, “Love + Trauma: The Trans Experience” on Sept. 27 at the National Trans Visibility March in Washington, D.C.
-
Yoba’s announcement prompted disturbing allegations. He is accused of soliciting underage trans prostitutes decades ago in New York. Mariah Lopez Ebony wrote on Facebook, “His admission to being sexually attracted to Trans women, is bound to open a Pandora’s box for him; not because the women are Trans, But because many of the Trans women he engaged in sexual exploration and exploitation with on 14th Street, Times Square and elsewhere, were minors. Including myself.” “That was close to 20 years ago, and I can still remember it like yesterday,” the post continued.
So Malik Yoba has been sleeping with child trans prostitutes for years and he’s about to be charged for it that’s why he came out with his fake love for trans women.😟
