grown-ish has tapped Kelly Rowland, Latto, NLE Choppa and Omarion to appear in the final season.
The music stars are joining Anderson. Paak & The Free Nationals and Lil Yachty as guest stars in the upcoming season.
Kelly Rowland will portray Edie, “a tenured professor who serves as the head of the psychology department at Cal U.” Meanwhile, Latto will play Sloane, a wine rep who counts Doug as a client. Omarion and NLE Choppa will portray themselves.
As previously reported, grown-ish Season 6 will follow Andre Johnson Jr., AKA “Junior,” “as he transitions from Zoey’s little brother to big man on campus.” The Freeform series stars Marcus Scribner, Trevor Jackson, Diggy Simmons, Daniella Perkins, Justine Skye, Tara Raani, and Yara Shahidi.
grown-ish is produced by ABC Signature. Kenya Barris, Craig Doyle, Yara Shahidi, Anthony Anderson, Laurence Fishburne, Helen Sugland, E. Brian Dobbins, and Michael Petok serve as executive producers. Craig Doyle serves as showrunner for the sixth season.
