*Will Smith and Martin Lawrence were spotted filming “Bad Boys 4” this week, and set photos are circulating on social media.
The Instagram account atlantafilming shared new photos from the fourth film in the franchise, and in one image, Smith and Lawrence are filming on a rooftop. The production is currently on location in Atlanta, according to People.
Earlier this year, Smith and Lawrence confirmed that they are reprising their roles as detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett. The actors shared a video on Instagram that was captioned: “IT’S ABOUT THAT TIME!”
In April, Smith and Lawrence appeared via video at CinemaCon and joked, “We’re not sorry we couldn’t be there,” according to Variety, because they were busy filming “Bad Boys 4.”

Smith took to Instagram in February and shared a video on Instagram of him getting into a car and telling fans… “Yo, I’ve got an announcement. Y’all better stop scrolling. Seriously.”
He then headed to Lawrence’s house, where the actor opened the door and asked, “It’s about that time?” Both stars then say in unison “Bad boys 4 life”.

Speaking to Ebony last summer, Lawrence said of the “Bad Boys” films … “For us to come together and prove that we can deliver, and we can pull people into the box office — that two Black stars, two sitcom stars, could make money at the box office [was huge].”
“I didn’t go to college, so I felt TV was my college years,” he added. “I felt with movies, I had graduated; it was just different.”
