Season 2 of Sex and the City sequel series And Just Like That… is coming back this June on Max (formerly known as HBO Max).
In the trailer below, the series continues updating viewers on the lives of the iconic New York friends Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda who are experiencing love, life and the changing times. Viewers have seen during the first season how the characters are interacting with more diverse characters and have more diverse experiences, a far cry from the original series, which created a very white, cisgender version of New York City.
The series stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis, who are also executive producers. The series also stars , Sara Ramírez, Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, Karen Pittman, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Evan Handler, Christopher Jackson, Niall Cunningham, Cathy Ang and Alexa Swinton.
Along with the three stars, the series is also executive produced by Michael Patrick King, Jon Melfi, Julie Rottenberg and Elisa Zuritsky. The series is written by King, Rottenberg, Zuritsky, Samantha Irby, Susan Fales-Hill, Lucas Froehlich and Rachel Palmer. Nixon, King, Rottenberg and Ry Russo-Young direct.
Sex and the City was created by Darren Star and based on the book of the same name by Candace Bushnell.
