*“Family Matters” star Darius McCrary was granted a permanent, 4-year restraining order against his former fiancée Tanya Hijazi.
We reported previously that McCrary first sought a protective order late last year, after claiming Hijazi broke his car window and attempted to attack him with a lead pipe. That protection order was denied when McCrary, 46, failed to show up in court. He claimed the reason for that was due to being “displaced” at the time after fleeing his ex.
McCrary reportedly returned to court and noted in new court docs, obtained by The Blast, that he is “emotionally traumatized, and cannot focus on work or day to day for fear.” The actor also claimed at the time that he was not in his own home “due to abuse, (physical, verbal, mental) from my ex.”
Per The Blast, according to the court docs, Darius explained how Hijazi “turned our then home into a drug den, she agreed to leave the country to attend rehab. She has returned and is now calling and sending threats. She has taken my possessions and placed them in storage and refuses to return them. She continues to be mentally abusive.”

McCrary said Hijazi “threatened to have her friends come take my dog and if I don’t pay her,” adding, “she has keys to my vehicle.”
Per RadarOnline, McCrary claimed his ex “has been and continues to be mentally abusive.” He said she also threatened to “have her friends come and take my dog and said she will leak stories [to the media] if I do not pay her. She has keys to my vehicle. I am afraid she will cause further damage. She continues to call me “a punk b—- f—- and is slandering my name in several professional circles of the entertainment industry.”
He added, “Help please. I fear I may end up like Phil Hartman.” The late “Saturday Night Live” comedian was fatally shot by his wife in a murder-suicide inside their home.
Hijazi, who once was married to late musician Rick James, has been ordered by the judge to stay 100 yards away from McCrary for the next four years, RadarOnline reports.
She also cannot communicate with McCrary. If she tries to contact him, the court said he has the right to record their phone conversations.
