Oscar winner Jamie Foxx is on the mend after being treated in a hospital in Georgia due to a mysterious “medical complication.” Corinne Foxx, his daughter, shared that her father was hospitalized and said he is “on his way to recovery.” More details inside…
Jamie Foxx is currently on the road to recovery after experiencing a “medical complication” on Tuesday, according to a statement from his daughter Corinne Foxx on Instagram.
Despite the hospitalization, the Foxx family is staying positive, and they’re asking for your prayers and support during this time.
“We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery,” she wrote on Instagram.
“We know how beloved he is,” Corinne shared, “and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”
There are rumors going around that Jamie may have allegedly suffered from a brain aneurysm and is currently being treated at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. At this time, we can’t confirm the accuracy of these statements, so take them with a grain of salt. We’ll be keeping an eye out for any updates or official statements.
The hospitalization news comes just as the 55-year-old actor is heating up the set of his upcoming Netflix movie, Back In Action, where the Academy Award-winning actor stars alongside none other than Cameron Diaz. This highly anticipated film marks Cameron’s return to the big screen since 2014’s Annie remake, which also featured Jamie.
Sources close to the project are already buzzing about the chemistry between Jamie and Cameron on set. In fact, an insider told PEOPLE that Jamie was instrumental in getting Cameron to make another movie.
“When this project came along and she was pursued by Jamie Foxx, who she has known and worked with for years, she decided to go for it,” the source said.
We’re glad to know that Jamie is on the mend, and with Back In Action on the horizon, we can’t wait to see him and Cameron Diaz in action. We’re sending our love and support to Jamie and his family.
