*LaTavia Washington McGee and Eric Williams join CNN’s Anderson Cooper to share the harrowing details of their kidnapping by a Mexican cartel.
In the interview, they spoke about their friends, Shaeed Woodard and Zindell Brown who were both killed by the gunmen after they tried to run when the cartel first cut them off in traffic near the border city of Matamoros. McGee and Williams then spoke on the cartel taking them captive and what they then experienced.
Another of the shocking reveals they shared was that the cartel tried to get her and Williams to have sex after she told them that they were siblings. McGee told them that she was pregnant, and she also revealed that she tried to escape twice after being kidnapped. Yo
