*Wyclef Jean recently made a bold move by stepping outside his music career and trying his entrepreneurial skills. The Fugees rapper and solo artist announced his presence in the auto industry using his new electric car via an Instagram post on his account.
“U S A premier Attucks Apex AP0 welcoming my Electric Super Car …. Little Haiti We Up !!!!!” read his Monday post.
Based on a Newsweek report, the Haitian refugee introduced his new baby, Attucks Apex APO, at The Ritz- Carlton Amelia Island Country and Golf Course (03-05-23). The car’s expected price tag, which will debut in the winter of 2024, will be $350,000. The rapper is the second to release his car after a partnership with Mercedes-AMG Black Eyed Peas frontman, which was reported by Newsweek less than a year ago. Will.i.am debuted the WILL.I.AMG, which is based on the Merced-AMG 4-Door Coupe.
The car was introduced as a concept car – a combination of the AMG GT coupe and G-Class SUV. The official debut will occur this weekend at the Formula One race in Miami. Jean claims that his car boasts one of the top speeds of 190 miles per hour and can cover between 0 and 60 mph in 2.3 seconds.
Jean’s car was created with partner Elo, owners of Supercar Room, Miami, and the possible headquarters will be in Little Haiti, Miami. Jean intends to use the Attucks company to help the Haitian community in the area mainly through discovery, grooming, and technological development. The process will entail inventions, creativity, sustainability, tech solutions, design, coding, and web3.

The car comprises an “enhanced music and sound experience that analyzes the driver and plays suitable song selections for the optimal driving experience.”
