Amazon Prime Video customers were frustrated after the streaming service was hit with a worldwide outage.
What We Know:
- The streaming site began having issues on August 14. Approximately 27,000 customers reported issues with the service according to the tracking website Down Detector.
- Amazon addressed the issue with a statement on their website saying, “We are currently experiencing technical difficulties. Please return later for more information about Prime.”
- Of course, people took to Twitter to vent about the outage.
I’m on the phone with customer support for amazon prime video which is down & @hoodocomedy convinced me to ask them for a gift card or refund and is now saying things to me like ‘bring up how they didn’t pay taxes last year’ and ‘jeff bezos is rich’ while i’m on hold
