*It’s not a big, big deal. But it’s a relatively rare sight in this part of the continental US. What are we talking about? Well, we’re talking about snow on the Hollywood sign.
As a result of that huge national storm that’s in effect, rain and hail fell on parts of Los Angeles and Orange counties Thursday, and even the Hollywood sign got a light dusting of snow.
Luckily for everybody, ABC7’s AIR7 HD chronicled the meteorological event when it flew over the iconic sign and captured some dense fog hovering above and small chunks of snow along the trail below the sign.
The forecast says snow, rain, and hail are all expected to intensify Friday and it has. This is NOT SoCal weather, even for this time of year.
