*Three women including two young mothers were the victims of a mass shooting at a multimillion-dollar rental home in Los Angeles over the weekend.
The deadly incident occurred in the Beverly Crest area, New York Post reports. The victims have been identified as Iyana Hutton, 33, of Chicago; Nenah Davis, a 29-year-old mother from Bolingbrook, Illinois, and Destiny Sims, a 26-year-old mother of three, of Buckeye, Arizona.
According to NBC Chicago, officers with the Los Angeles Police Department responded to calls of a shooting at 2:30 a.m. and found a total of seven people shot at the luxury home.
Four of the victims were hospitalized with gunshot wounds, the LAPD said.
Police haven’t released details on what led to the shooting but investigators suspect it was a targeted attack.

The search for suspects is underway, according to multiple reports.
The mass shooting is the sixth in the state this year so far, and the fourth in Los Angeles this week.
“This is the eleventh mass shooting in the United States and the fourth in California this week. THIS. WEEK. Thoughts and prayers are not enough. We need action,” LA mayor Karen Bass tweeted.
