Urban Cowboy, situated in the middle of East Nashville, embodies the cowboy spirit of its name. The hotel’s one-of-a-kind decor and ambiance evoke strong cowboy vibes, transporting guests into a design fantasy world where they are encouraged to socialize, express themselves creatively, and indulge. Housed in a historic Victorian mansion from the 1800s, Urban Cowboy offers eight uniquely designed suites to guests who need to be above 21 years of age. The hotel also boasts two bars and a nightly live music performance by Nashville’s best artists.
History of The Hotel
The Urban Cowboy story begins in the trendy neighborhood of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, where founders Lyon Porter and Jersey Banks transformed their dream home into a cultural hub and artist hangout. Then, their venture south led them to a charming Nashville mansion – love at first sight. The mansion wasn’t for sale, but they decided to knock on the door and struck a deal. Thus, Urban Cowboy Nashville was born, following in the footsteps of its Brooklyn predecessor.
At Urban Cowboy, you ‘arrive as strangers and leave as friends.’ The interior design is a feast for the eyes, featuring reclaimed natural materials, vintage décor, and hand-designed patterns. Beyond the design, the Parlor Wine Bar in the main house offers a cozy space to sip wine or wine-based cocktails. Housed in a converted carriage house, The Public House is both a neighborhood hangout and a cocktail connoisseur’s dream. In the backyard, Roberta’s Pizza is well-known for its wood-fired pizza and is the perfect place to satisfy your cravings.
