*Kevin Hart is taking legal action against ex-staffer Miesha Shakes after she allegedly made “false and defamatory” statements about him during her interview with popular YouTuber Tasha K.

We reported earlier that in legal documents obtained by TheBlast, a representative of Tasha K was accused of contacting Hart’s team in November, claiming to have had an explosive interview with Shakes. The blogger allegedly threatened to publish if she wasn’t paid $250,000. Hart refused to Pay, and Tasha was served a cease-and-desist letter stating she had no right to broadcast his personal business.

Tasha ignored the cease-and-desist letter and published the interview on her YouTube channel, “Unwine with Tasha K,” on December 22. During the conversation, Shakes claimed Hart cheated on his wife, Eniko, and that he had a gambling problem.

Hart denied the allegations and sued Tasha and Miesha for defamation and civil extortion. He recently submitted evidence in court showing Shakes signed an NDA during her employment from August 2017 to October 2020.

Hart noted in a new filing obtained by RadarOnline.com that Shakes made inaccurate claims about him when she said he had “a secret video recording of a romantic encounter I had in Las Vegas 2017 and that I faced criminal charges regarding that surreptitious recording.”

He also accuses her of divulging “private information” that was not publicly known. “For example, she spoke about my interactions with my wife during the time period after revelations regarding the Las Vegas incident had come to light,” the court filing stated, per Radar.

Hart’s lawsuit suggests Shakes must have listened through walls to get some of the info she shared with Tasha K.

“I did not record any such video, and I have never been criminally charged with doing so,” Hart noted in the legal filing, per Radar.

According to the lawsuit, Hart stated, “I understand from speaking with my security personnel, and Shakes admitted during the interview, that Shakes obtained some of the information she discussed in the interview by covertly listening through the walls, with her ear to the wall, to private interactions occurring behind closed doors at our offices.”

Hart said he continues to endure “damage to my reputation, and thus to my present and future business and financial prospects” due to Shakes’ interview with Tasha K.
