*Meghan Markle has revealed her latest business venture with the launch of her brand-new lifestyle enterprise, American Riviera Orchard.
The Duchess of Sussex debuted her new website and Instagram page that “will reflect everything that she loves — family, cooking, entertaining and home décor.”
Meghan’s new lifestyle and cookery brand will be integrated with her upcoming cooking show on Netflix.
“She is excited about her latest, personal venture,” the source added. “This is something she’s been wanting to do for a while. She is excited to share her style and things that she loves.”
As for the brand’s name, the insider said, “Meghan finds the name American Riviera Orchard perfect. It feels authentic to her. She can’t wait for the website to launch.”
Visitors are greeted with a landing page on the website, and they can join an email waitlist for products and updates.
According to a trademark application, Meghan asks permission to market cutlery, cookbooks, and jarred food products.
Per PEOPLE, the food set includes, “Jellies, jams; marmalades; fruit preserves; edible oils and fats, and preserves; Vegetable-based spreads; Legume-based spreads; Nut-based spreads; Garlic-based spreads; Sesame-based spreads; Dairy-based spreads; Nut butters; Fruit butters.”
“I’ve never been the type of person to do only one thing. I guess that how my website was born,” the Duchess of Sussex said in the 2022 Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan, about her previously lifestyle blog The Tig. “There was fashion, there was tons of food, and travel, so it was all of the things that I loved. And The Tig wasn’t just a hobby. It became a really successful business.”
