*Lawyers will tell you it’s hard to prove a good boss/bad boss employee complaint unless you have solid evidence and/or irrefutable documentation.

So, in the case of former president Donald Trump, during his term in office, he would ordinarily go down in history as either a good president or a bad president.

However, when you look at the totality of egregious things he’s said, done, or attempted to do, especially after he lost the 2020 election, one has to wonder how in the world did America allow Trump to get this far – to become the republican front-runner for the presidency again?

In the Black community, folks grumble “If it had been President Obama he would have been put in jail by now, or worse!”

In the June 2023 POLITICO staff report “Tracking the Trump Criminal Cases” they wrote: “For the first 234 years of the nation’s history, no American president or former president had ever been indicted. That changed this year. Over five months, former President Donald Trump was charged in four criminal cases. In Washington, D.C., he faces four felony counts for his efforts to overturn the 2020 election. In Georgia, he faces 13 felony counts for his election interference in that state. In New York, he faces 34 felony counts in connection with hush money payments to a porn star. And in Florida, he faces 40 felony counts for hoarding classified documents after he left office and impeding the government’s efforts to retrieve them.” Since then, Trump has been adjudicated as a rapist and ordered to pay the plaintiff millions of dollars.

As he continues to dance around the law, there’s a rhythmic sort of cadence to Trump’s tactics: Lie, delay; lie, delay. Sing the lyrics to the tune of “Three Blind Mice”:

“Lie delay, lie delay/see how it’s done, see how it’s done

You pull the wool over people’s eyes/then fill their heads with a bunch of lies

The legal system you demonize/that’s lie delay, lie delay”

Why are lawmakers allowing a guy like Trump to be on any public service ballot? He’s disqualified to even become a librarian; NOT because of the indictments, but apparently, he’s poor at spelling and reading!

Now Trump is complaining about a two-tiered justice system – what minorities in America have been saying all along – in how he perceives the FBI handled his hoarding of classified documents at his Mar A Lago estate and the way they handled President Biden in a similar case. The difference is Trump lied and defied (the lie, delay tactic), while President Biden immediately responded and complied.

So, the mere fact that the former president knowingly and willfully spread “The Big Lie” about the 2020 election being stolen, inciting an attack on the Capitol, refusing the transfer of power, and exposing classified documents in unsecured areas within his estate (for which he should be denied a DOJ security clearance), late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel hit the nail on the head when he quipped, “Isn’t it past your jail time?” Nighty night!
