“I always want to see Barack Obama behind a mask,” Cannon revealed, according to Too Fab.

“That’s who I’m hoping for every season because we know he can sing, we know he’s a lovable guy,” he added.

“Anybody in the Obama family, the daughters, Michelle, somebody just pull up and sing a song for us,” “The Masked Singer” host continued.

Speaking of the Obama family, earlier this year, Malia Obama premiered her directorial debut, the short film “The Heart,”  at the Sundance Film Festival.

We reported earlier that she is credited as Malia Ann on the comedy-drama that “follows a lonely man named Josh, portrayed by Tunde Adebimpe, as he grapples with the sudden loss of his mother, Anita, played by LaTonya Borsay. The plot takes an unexpected turn with Anita’s peculiar request in her will for her son to preserve her heart organ and care for it after her passing,” per blexmedia.com.

During a Q&A session at Sundance in January, Malia described the project as an “allegorical little poem story.”

Donald Glover’s production company is reportedly behind “The Heart.”

Glover previosuly told GQ that he told the daughter of Barack and Michelle Obama, “She will only get to do this once,” adding, “You’re Obama’s daughter. So if you make a bad film, it will follow you around.”

Malia made her television writing debut on Prime Video’s 2023 thriller series “Swarm,” which is also a Donald Glover production. Series co-creator Janine Nabers told ET that Malia’s “Girl, Bye” episode is one of the “wildest” of the season.

Meanwhile, Season 11 of “The Masked Singer” debuted this week on Fox. The singing competition series airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
