WNBA player Kysre Gondrezick is raising hell, calling out prosecutors involved in Kevin Porter Jr.’s assault case.

The 26-year-old, 5-ft-9 guard told TMZ Sports that she’s repeatedly denied her ex-boyfriend attacking her back in September and that the D.A.’s office’s handling of the incident has ‘compounded my trauma even more than the actual experience.’
She also claimed that she provided officials with a statement one week after Porter, 23, was placed into custody and that her original criminal complaint was taken well out of context.
Now, she’s asking for the Manhattan D.A. – Alvin Bragg – to actually come out and explain her version of events reported to authorities.
Gondrezick insists that she fell and hit her head after Porter, who was waived from the OKC Thunder right after his arrest, a little over two months ago, ‘abruptly woke her up after a night out.’ She stands firm with her truth, too, which is that Porter ‘never struck her.’
‘KPJ’ has been facing allegations of hitting Gondrezick multiple times and strangling her, as well, resulting in a fractured neck vertebra and a cut around her eye.
It was later disclosed that Gondrezick had the neck injury before Porter allegedly put his hands on her.
Gondrezick also claims that the laceration on her face emerged after she fell, and pointed to a makeup smear on the hotel room where she was staying with Porter as evidence.
Porter was initially arrested for assault and strangulation but prosecutors in New York have dropped a charge due to a lack of proof.
Gondrezick further told TMZ Sports that she is speaking up in fear of being silenced by authorities. Furthermore, she wants those who led the ‘false narrative’ in the case to be held accountable.
Gondrezick’s lawyer, Bobby Altchiler, also said that the former Indiana Fever player has been receiving death threats due to the mishandling of the case.
He, like Gondrezick, wants the Manhattan D.A.’s office to review the information that it has on file regarding the assault case between both basketball players.
‘Just be honest, for God’s sake,’ he told TMZ Sports.
Porter is due back in court later this month.
