The Ethics Adjudicatory Board could censure or fine Cantrell up to $10,000
NEW ORLEANS (AP) — New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell is facing charges for allegedly violating state ethics law related to her use of first-class flights.
The Louisiana Board of Ethics charged Cantrell under a state law that prohibits public officials from receiving anything of value for their official duties. The board alleges Cantrell improperly received nearly $29,000 worth of first-class upgrades for today!
