“BetheNeNe,” a limited podcast series, sees the two “Real Housewives” OGs coming together to cover hot topics and “spill tea.”
NeNe Leakes and Bethenny Frankel are joining forces once again. The “Real Housewives” OGs have come together for a limited podcast series, “BetheNeNe.”
The news comes just weeks after Leakes’ bombshell interview with Frankel, which saw the “Atlanta” founding cast member opening up about her estranged relationship with Bravo and Andy Cohen, how she feels about her experience overall, and how she feels about proper compensation in reality TV. Frankel, an original cast member of “The Real Housewives of New York,” is also estranged from the network, as she has taken to social media and her podcast demanding a “reality TV reckoning.”
Frankel shared a post on Instagram to tease the limited podcast series. Under a picture of the two reality TV stars, Frankel wrote that the series will feature the two, “spilling the tea on that eclectic dinner, menopause, on and off tv friendships…and so much more to come.” The “dinner” Frankel is referring to, is one she hosted this month with reality stars like Leakes, Larsa Pippen and more.
Frankel and Leakes went deep on their strained relationship with their former boss. As theGrio previously reported, Leakes had filed a discrimination lawsuit against Bravo, NBCUniversal, and Cohen, which she eventually dropped. While she has spoken out about wanting to repair her friendship with the host, she told Frankel in their initial interview that she has called but he has not answered.
“I’ve tried to find a way for he and I to sit down and talk but he’s never wanted to do that. … This is just to clear the air, not for anything else — not to be a Housewife, not for anything. Just to understand him and for him to understand me, pretty much.”
As of today, the first four episodes of “BetheNeNe” have dropped underneath Frankel’s “Rewives” podcast, in which they break down details from that dinner, tackle hot topics like Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith, Leakes’ relationship with her former “Atlanta” co-star Cynthia Bailey and more.
