*Tory Lanez has reportedly been taken out of prison isolation and placed in the general population.

As The Jasmine Brand reports, in jailhouse audio of Lanez talking about his experience, he’s heard saying: “I’m just happy to get out that b*llsh*t county jail. They was hating on a young, fly n*gga, you heard? Had me in 24-hour lockdown, half-sized cell by myself, no windows, no mirrors. [A] n*gga ain’t even seen himself in a whole year, yo!”

Last month it was reported that Lanez was fearful for his life at North Kern State Prison in Delano, Calif.

As we reported previously, the rapper, 31, is expected to spend three to six months at the medium-security prison before being transferred to a long-term facility to serve the rest of his sentence for the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.

The Candian-born artist was previously held at Los Angeles County Jail. North Kern is said to be home to several violent inmates, “as multiple murders have happened there just this year,” TMZ writes.

“Tory is scared for his life and safety in prison. He feels like he is an instant and direct target because of his celebrity status,” a source told Page Six.

According to TMZ, Lanez was initially held in “Administrative Segregation” due to his celebrity status. He is “escorted to the showers where he bathes by himself,” and, “if he chooses to spend time in the yard, he’ll be the only one in the fenced-off area.”

Meanwhile, a rep for Lanez debunked the allegations that he lives in fear behind bars.

As The Jasmine Brand reports, an insider from the California Correctional Institution claims Lanez is no longer receiving the “celebrity treatment,” and claims he eats breakfast with everyone in the “chow hall.”
